Sony Pictures has released the final trailer for Venom: The Last Dance, which reveals the first look at Knull, known as the Symbiote God. In the trailer below, you can see Venom talking to Eddie about his creator, Knull.
As I previously reported, Knull was the one who sent Venom and other symbiotes to Earth because he needed to execute a secret master plan. Venom chose to stay on Earth with Eddie. Knull is the creator of the symbiotes in Marvel Comics.
According to Alex P from The Cosmic Circus, Knull is reportedly set to return in another Sony/Marvel project. He will make his first appearance in Venom: The Last Dance.
Norman Reedus will portray Knull in the SSU/MCU, with his first appearance in Sony/Marvel’s Venom: The Last Dance.
According to the film’s official plot synopsis, “In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”
Kelly Marcel, who directed the first film will return to direct from a screenplay she co-wrote with Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ hits theaters on October 25, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
