The first trailer for ‘Venom: The Last Dance‘ is reportedly ready and set to drop next week. Watch it below.
The BBFC confirmed that the runtime of the ‘The Last Dance’ trailer is 2 minutes and 27 seconds and has been rated 15 (R-rated) in the U.K. This runtime is shorter than those of the trailers for the first two Venom movies.
The ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ trailer will be released on Monday, June 3, 2024, on Sony Pictures’ official YouTube channel and social media accounts.
The film is directed by Kelly Marcel from a screenplay she co-wrote with Tom Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
In an interview with Collider, Marcel described ‘Venom 3’ as “going to be amazing.”
What is the Plot of Venom: The Last Dance?
In the film, Venom/Eddie Brock (Hardy) learns that Peter Parker is destined to kill him. Venom convinces Eddie to hunt down Peter, but Eddie has second thoughts after kidnapping him. Meanwhile, a new symbiote, Toxin, and a vigilante group, The Jury, threaten to destroy all symbiotes. Eddie must protect young Peter while facing these new threats and preventing chaos in San Francisco.
Produced by Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, Hutch Parker, Marcel, and Hardy. The film is part of Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man cinematic universe, which is separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which focuses on characters such as Spider-Man.
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ is set to theaters on October 25, 2024, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
