‘The Marvels‘ is coming to Disney+ after its theatrical run. Despite a global gross of $200 million and a production budget of $274.8 million, the film is considered the lowest-grossing in the MCU and a box-office disappointment.
When will ‘The Marvels’ be available on Disney+?
‘The Marvels’ is set to premiere on Disney+ on February 7, 2024, following the model of the previous film, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which had a release window of 90 days.
Directed by Nia DaCosta. The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Park Seo-joon, Zawe Ashton, Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur. The film also brings back Goose, the Flerken.
In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”
