The ‘X-Men ’97‘ Episode 10, titled “Tolerance Is Extinction” Part 10, is now streaming on Disney+. The final episode of the season is a thrilling conclusion for fans. The previous episode ended with Magneto attempting to kill Wolverine.

Episode 10 opens with Charles Xavier attempting to enter Magneto’s mind using his powers to stop him. Initially, Magneto resists, but eventually, Xavier succeeds in entering Magneto’s mind, and both become lost somewhere within it. Meanwhile, Wolverine is on the verge of death due to Magneto’s attack.

Jean Grey, Storm, Morph, Beast, and Cable were captured by Bastion and Sinister. When Bastion tries to mock Cable for being a clone that Jean turned into the Phoenix, Jean taps into all her power and stops all the human Sentinels. Phoenix also absorbs Sinister’s powers, causing him to age rapidly.

After Phoenix returns from Jean’s body, Bastion reappears and grabs Cable’s hand, transforming into an indestructible Sentinel. He plans to execute Magneto’s plan to crash the asteroid into Earth and kill everyone. Meanwhile, in space, Rogue and Roberto engage in a massive fight with Bastion, who enters the asteroid. The X-Men reunite and confront Bastion, causing him to fall. Cyclops attempts to convince Bastion by appealing to his emotions about his mother. At that moment, multiple missiles from Earth attack the asteroid, causing it to begin falling towards Earth.

The X-Men are prepared to sacrifice their lives to prevent the asteroid from hitting the world. Meanwhile, Xavier and Magneto find themselves trapped in Magneto’s brain, unable to remember anything. They appear to be in the center of an ocean at dawn. Eventually, they return to their bodies, and Magneto manages to stop and vanish the asteroid. However, everyone inside the asteroid is transported to different points in the future and past. There, they encounter various heroes, leaving the X-Men confused about their whereabouts. The situation resembles an ending cliffhanger similar to “Avengers: Infinity War.”

At the end, there is a post-credit scene set in present-day Genosha, where an unknown character appears and takes soil, remarking, “So much death, my children.” Overall, the show is action-packed and features numerous cameos, including Iron Man, Captain America, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, King T’Chaka, and more. Season 2 will continue the story, but fans will have to wait for some time.

The show is a revival/sequel to the iconic “X-Men: The Animated Series,” which aired for 5 seasons on Fox Kids from 1992-1997. Created by Beau DeMayo and directed by Jake Castorena and Chase Conley.

‘X-Men ’97’ season 1 is now available on Disney+.
