Following the SXSW premiere, HBO Max has now revealed the official trailer for “Love & Death,” starring Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons. The series premieres on HBO Max on April 27.
The trailer shows that Olsen’s Candy Montgomery was questioned by the investigators, and she chopped, chopped, and again chopped Betty Gore. But when Candy said, “I didn’t do it,” investigators replied, “I think you did it.” All the secrets are revealed. Candy used a three-foot-long axe to strike Betty Gore 41 times.
The series is based on the true story of Wylie, Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who was accused of the brutal axe murder of her friend Betty Gore in 1980.
