The much-anticipated release of Damien Chazelle‘s ‘Babylon‘ is finally here. The home release date will be January 31, 2023, and on Paramount+ on February 21, 2023. The film will be released on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD on March 21, 2023.
Is ‘Babylon’ Worth Watching?
Babylon is based on the rise and fall of multiple characters during Hollywood’s transition from silent to sound films in the late 1920s. The film is entertaining and has an average plot. The cast is outstanding, but the graphic content and run-time are disappointing.
From Damien Chazelle, Babylon is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.
