Speaking to Entertainment Online, Ortega told “I appreciate everyone wearing the black.”
“I felt like if I was gonna wear black like everyone else, I probably should make a deal out it,” Ortega says. “I put it on and I just knew that this is probably what I should do.” she added, “I think she would appreciate the veil.”
Wednesday series is based on the character Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family. The series stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Gwendoline Christie appearing in supporting roles.
In the series, Smart, sarcastic, and a little dead inside, Wednesday Addams investigates a murder spree while making new friends — and foes — at Nevermore Academy.
Wednesday is now streaming on Netflix.
