Marvel Studios has big plans for the future of the MCU.
According to a new update from Daniel Richtman on his Patreon post, Marvel Studios reportedly wants to make a sequel to Deadpool & Wolverine following the film’s massive success.
The sequel is expected to arrive after Avengers: Secret Wars.

According to the source, every member of the Thunderbolts*—including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian (David Harbour), John Walker/U.S. Agent (Wyatt Russell), Ava Starr/Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), and Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko)—will reportedly appear in Avengers: Doomsday.

Spider-Man 4 will reportedly feature some multiversal elements and multiple villains. Filming is set to begin in August 2025. Additionally, Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man will play a major role in Avengers: Doomsday.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, it will be the fourth installment of the Spider-Man series. “Following the events of Avengers: Doomsday, Peter Parker is determined to lead a normal life and focus on college, stepping back from his responsibilities as Spider-Man. However, peace is short-lived when a deadly new threat emerges, endangering his friends and forcing Peter to reconsider his promise. With stakes higher than ever, Peter reluctantly returns to his Spider-Man identity and finds himself teaming up with an unlikely ally to protect those he loves.”
Spider-Man 4 will hit theaters on July 24, 2026.
Marvel Studios Casting for Secret Role in Avengers: Doomsday — Well-Known Character to Appear in Avengers: Secret Wars
Marvel Studios is reportedly casting for a “secret role” in Avengers: Doomsday—the character is described as a “well-known Marvel character“—who will also play a major role in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Filming for Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to begin in March 2025, with the Russo Brothers directing and Stephen McFeely writing the script. Unusually for Marvel, the Russo Brothers will also produce both films through their AGBO banner.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on May 1, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars will be released on May 7, 2027.
