Sony’s Kraven the Hunter had an early premiere screening at a theater in Macon, Georgia. Following the premiere, critic reports are now out. It is said: “It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst either.”
As per reports, Kraven the Hunter is a badass action movie, which is better than Sony’s SSU movies Morbius, Madame Web, and the Venom trilogy. But the ending gives no clue for future films or may be a dead end for Spider-Man spin-off movies.
According to X user @theatomreview, Kraven the Hunter is BOLD & BRUTAL! Aaron Taylor-Johnson is great in Sony’s most vicious effort yet. A huge story, violent with thrilling stakes. Gritty imagery as you crave his liquid. Not just another Marvel movie, it’s one of the BEST action films ever! A fitting end, setting up what’s next—Venom, Morbius, Madame Web… The Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters expands with its greatest effort yet. A phenomenal experience with big action & adventure. FEROCIOUS & SAVAGE, no messing around here.
According to X user @davybirth, Kraven the Hunter is a total BLAST! There are lots of references to Spider-Man lore that will wow fans. Great cinematic action, and the R-rating was a delight. Aaron Taylor-Johnson really embodied the character—phenomenal performance. Don’t miss it on December 13th!
According to X user @Seantaj, Kraven the Hunter is a knockout! Aaron Taylor-Johnson embodies Kraven with his physique, charisma, and raw savagery. The R-rating pays off big time. This film is bloody, raw, and brutal while offering a story that does this iconic villain justice.
The film does not have any post-credits. Recently, director J.C. Chandor said that he wants to complete Kraven’s story with Kraven’s Last Hunt. Hopefully, it happens if the film is successful in the theaters.
