Sony’s Venom: The Last Dance is now available on PVOD platforms.
A new deleted scene shows Eddie (Tom Hardy) and Venom, who accidentally get stuck between Earth-688 (his universe) and Earth-616, while teleporting to his original universe during the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Watch the clip below.
We can also see that the Xenophage Symbiote sees Venom having the Codex. It seems they informed Knull about the Codex, as it appears Xenophage and Knull are creatures from the multiverse.
According to Alex P of The Cosmic Circus, he explains why the studio deleted the scene: “If they had any intention of tying this to Spider-Man 4 and the larger MCU multiverse, they’d have to explain what the space “In Between Universes” is and how it differs from what Marvel plans on using to explain that in Doomsday and Secret Wars.”
The DVD, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray release date for Venom: The Last Dance is set for January 21, 2025. You can now pre-order the film on Amazon.
Kelly Marcel, who directed the first film will return to direct from a screenplay she co-wrote with Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
