The VOD release date for Dog Man has been revealed. The film will be available for purchase or rental on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting February 18, 2025.
The animated movie is written and directed by Peter Hastings and is based on Dav Pilkey’s children’s graphic novel series of the same name. It is a spin-off and a story within a story of Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (2017) and the second film in the Captain Underpants franchise.

In the process, they discover the power of family (and kittens!) to unite even the most unlikely allies.
Dog Man also stars Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers, Rango) as TV reporter Sarah Hatoff, Poppy Liu (Hacks, The Afterparty) as Petey’s assistant Butler, Emmy nominee Stephen Root (Barry, King of the Hill) as Grampa, Billy Boyd (The Lord of the Rings franchise, Seed of Chucky) as Sarah’s cameraman Seamus, and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Ricky Gervais (The Office, Extras) as Flippy the fish.
