Marvel Studios‘ Deadpool & Wolverine set is reportedly being reworked for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, which is now in production.
According to X user @UnBoxPHD, who has leaked several updates from the Avengers: Doomsday set in the United Kingdom, the Deadpool & Wolverine set has not been dismantled and is now being reworked for Doomsday.

Since Deadpool & Wolverine is a multiversal movie, it’s expected to have a stronger connection to the upcoming Avengers films. Reportedly, Marvel is turning the Void into the new Battleworld for Doctor Doom.
There are also rumors that Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) will return in Doomsday for a brief cameo and are set to play a larger role in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Most recently, some leaked set images from Avengers: Doomsday in London revealed mysterious statues and a crashed spaceship on land.
What is the Plot of Avengers: Doomsday?
Avengers: Doomsday will mark the beginning of the end for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must race against time to save their reality while confronting the powerful force behind it all: Victor Von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).

During CinemaCon 2025, Marvel President Kevin Feige confirmed that Avengers: Doomsday will focus on the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, Thunderbolts, and the original X-Men all uniting to fight Doctor Doom.

In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, Jake Schreier, the director of the upcoming Thunderbolts* movie, revealed that a powerful character from Thunderbolts will have a strong connection to Avengers: Doomsday.
Schreier said, “There might be some stones, or pebbles [smiles]. I don’t know how you want to rate your rocks. Look, you know the character that we’re talking about, and you know that there’s a level of power involved there that could have an impact going forward. I’m not making Doomsday so I’m not privy to that.”
Produced by Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Russo Brothers will produce through their AGBO banner.
Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2026.
