A new look at Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man, spotted filming a CGI fight scene for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Glasgow, Scotland, has been revealed.
On X, user Spider-Man Media shared footage of Spider-Man recovering after being attacked. It is rumored that he is fighting Scorpion. Watch the clip below.
Following two weeks of shooting, Spider-Man: Brand New Day has wrapped filming in Glasgow. The next schedule will take place at Pinewood Studios in September, where the scene will feature Spider-Man fighting Scorpion, as confirmed by UnBoxPHD.
As per our source, the scene that Spider-Man: Brand New Day shot in Glasgow was: “The Punisher chasing Scorpion, and Spider-Man trying to stop him from killing his target.” Below, you can see images of Spider-Man on top of the Punisher’s van as they chase a tank.

Marvel President Kevin Feige, during an interview, said that Peter Parker will be dealing with “street-level crime” in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Feige explained, “I think there’s a promise at the end of No Way Home — that, as sad as it is that Peter is forgotten by everyone in his life, we are seeing, for the first time in the Tom Holland Spider-Man stories, him being a proper Spider-Man. Him being by himself, dedicated to saving the city, and dealing with — for lack of a better term — street-level crime, as opposed to world-ending events.”
According to scooper Daniel Richtman, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will have a darker tone, somewhat similar to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or the Kraven’s Last Hunt storyline from the comics. The Spider-Man and Punisher vs. Hulk showdown takes place only in the first act of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, Bruce Banner’s rampage is not the main conflict—it serves as a clue pointing to a larger, hidden threat.

Destin Daniel Cretton is dirceting the film from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the film stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink, alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas has also been cast in an undisclosed role, and Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Here’s the plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the world has forgotten his name, Peter Parker (Holland) begins a new chapter in his life — balancing college classes, part-time work, and his responsibility as New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But when a mysterious force begins to unravel the city from the inside out, Peter finds himself caught between powerful enemies, old legacies, and unexpected allies. As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
