The first look at Daniel Rigby as Vernon Dursley and Jon Furlong as Dedalus Diggle has been spotted filming on the set of the Harry Potter series in Hoddesdon, England.

The leaked set images from Hoddesdon show Rigby as Vernon Dursley meeting Furlong’s Dedalus Diggle, dressed in a violet cloak and hat, in what appears to be the book-accurate opening scene where Vernon encounters wizards celebrating Voldemort’s death in the 1980s—a scene not shown in the films.

The show is written and showrun by Francesca Gardiner, with Mark Mylod serving as executive producer and directing multiple episodes. According to HBO, “The series will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, replete with the fantastic detail and beloved characters Harry Potter fans have cherished for over twenty-five years.”

According to insider Daniel Richtman, HBO is auditioning both men and women for the role of Voldemort in the Harry Potter series. There is a high chance that we may see a female version of the Dark Lord.
According to HBO’s television boss Channing Dungey, the Harry Potter series will be “a little bit more in-depth” compared to a two-hour film. Dungey described working with J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter books as “an unbelievable dream.”
