Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has resumed filming following Tom Holland‘s injury. The shoot is currently taking place in Hampshire, England.

On X, user @UnBoxPHD shared leaked images of Spider-Man trying to stop a tank from hitting a prison, with Department of Damage Control soldiers present in Basingstoke. See the images and footage below.

For now, Holland’s stunt double is filming the scenes. Filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Basingstoke may also be canceled tomorrow, as Tom Holland was reportedly scheduled to be there but cannot attend while he is resting. However, plans may change.

According to Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, new details have been revealed about Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Sony reportedly requested something in exchange for allowing Marvel to move forward with the project. The version of Brand New Day in development is the one Holland and Zendaya were excited about when reading the script. In addition, Holland’s Spider-Man may create his own tech and gadgets in future projects.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton is directing the film from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Most recently, we reported that Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone, one of New York’s most notorious crime bosses, in Brand New Day.
