The test screening for Scary Movie 6 was recently held, and the film is said to be “a home run,” according to an insider source.
According to the test screening report, everyone was raving about the movie. The Tuesday parody was reportedly the best, and the blackface scene was a hit with the audience.
The film is being described as a “good return to actual comedy.” Cindy (Anna Faris) and Brenda (Regina Hall) were praised for their performances. The jokes went hard, though many viewers wished they had gone even harder.

We previously reported that Scary Movie 6 will parody the movies Weapons, M3GAN, Sinners, The Substance, Get Out, Ma, Terrifier, Longlegs, Smile, Halloween, and Scream VI.
Scary Movie 6 is now playing alongside Scream 7. It features references to M3GAN, Terrifier, Sinners, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, The Exorcist, The Substance, Longlegs, Heretic, and Scream. The official trailer will be released today.
Directed by Michael Tiddes and penned by Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory Wayans with Rick Alvarez, the movie is the sixth chapter in the Scary Movie saga and follows the events of Scary Movie 4.
The cast includes Anna Faris as Cindy Campbell, Regina Hall as Brenda Meeks, Marlon Wayans as Shorty Meeks, Shawn Wayans as Ray Wilkins, Jon Abrahams as Bobby Prinze, Lochlyn Munro as Greg Phillippe, and Dave Sheridan as Doofy Gilmore, alongside Anthony Anderson, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, Damon Wayans Jr., Kim Wayans, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Felissa Rose, Savannah Lee Nassif, Cameron Scott Roberts, Sydney Park, Gregg Wayans, Ruby Snowber, and Benny Zielke.
Scary Movie 6 will hit theaters on June 12, 2026, by Paramount Pictures.
