New plot details for Marvel’s The Champions (Young Avengers) have been leaked online. The show is reportedly set to have a major connection to Avengers: Secret Wars and will take place on Battleworld.
According to scooper Majestic, the Champions subplot will introduce a new team of Young Avengers. The team is expected to include James Rogers (the son of Steve Rogers, who has super strength), Toussaint (the son of Black Panther), Hulking, Viv Vision, and Iron Lad — a young version of Kang. Iron Lad was reportedly saved by Loki, the God of Time, after escaping a war with other versions of Kang. He now seeks help.
Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, and Cassie Lang are said to be tasked with forming a new super team.
It is rumored that this storyline will take place on Battleworld, where the team assembles to rescue Wanda from Doom’s castle. The full story is expected to be revealed in Avengers: Secret Wars.

Additionally, the reboot will reportedly see the title Champions changed to Young Avengers, featuring a team of young heroes carrying out missions in a new world.
According to the update:
- Young Avengers → A direct successor to Avengers, likely developed as a feature film.
- Champions → Planned as an 8–9 episode Disney+ series.
The project was previously titled Young Avengers and was later changed to Champions, as listed on IMDb.
Synopsis: “After a devastating event, mysterious teen heroes emerge, calling themselves the Young Avengers. But who are these young vigilantes, and what gives them the right to use that name?”
Champions is expected to start production in 2026 and is expected to release after Avengers: Secret Wars.
