Marvel Entertainment released the first official full trailer for Marvel Television Special Presentation: The Punisher: One Last Kill, starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, a.k.a. the Punisher.
In the trailer above, Bernthal’s Punisher is seen on a full rampage, as he tries to deal with his past. There is also a scene in which Frank is set on fire while seeing and hearing hallucinations of people talking to him.

Frank is seen sitting alone in an empty room. The silence is broken by voices from his past. He remembers painful moments from his life, including the loss of his wife and daughter, who were killed by people who betrayed him.

A voice asks if he can ever be forgiven for what he has done. Soon, the voice turns dark and tells him he will never find redemption. Other scenes show Frank fighting new enemies, while also showing his softer side as he protects a young girl from danger.

The Special Presentation will follow Frank as he “searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.”
It stars Jon Bernthal stars as Frank Castle / The Punisher, alongside Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, his close friend and former U.S. Navy SARC who now leads a therapy group after losing part of his leg in combat, with Roe Rancell as Dennis, Mila Jaymes as Charli, and Ma Gnucci appearing as a powerful crime boss.
The Punisher: One Last Kill is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and co-written by Green and Jon Bernthal for Disney+. Based on the Marvel Comics character, it will be the third Marvel Studios Special Presentation in the MCU, sharing continuity with the franchise’s films and series.
Inspired by the classic arc “Welcome Back, Frank” (Garth Ennis, 2000), the special tells the story of Frank Castle’s last great hunt and how his crusade, unintentionally, sparks the chaos that will later consume New York.
Bernthal first played Frank Castle in Season 2 of Netflix’s Daredevil. The show introduced him as a violent vigilante who was sometimes an ally and sometimes an enemy to Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox.
Like in the comics, Castle is a former soldier who seeks revenge after his wife and children are killed. He becomes a ruthless anti-hero, wearing black with a white skull on his chest, and uses guns to take down his enemies.
The Punisher: One Last Kill will premiere on Disney+ on May 12, one week after the Season 2 finale of Daredevil: Born Again.
