Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill return as Enola Holmes and Sherlock Holmes for another mystery-filled adventure.
Netflix has revealed the first look at Enola Holmes 3, starring Brown, Cavill, and Louis Partridge. In the third installment, Enola takes on her most thrilling and dangerous case yet.
Here are the plot details for Enola Holmes 3:
“Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”
Philip Barantini replaces Harry Bradbeer as director after Bradbeer helmed both Enola Holmes films in 2020 and 2022. The movies are adapted by Jack Thorne from Nancy Springer’s mystery novels, with the most recent book published in 2023.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Brown shared, “I think what’s really exciting about this one is how much Enola has grown.” Brown added, “She still has that same fire and curiosity, but she’s a bit more confident in who she is and what she stands for. The stakes feel bigger, not just in terms of the mystery, but emotionally too. And of course, for fans of Enola and Tewkesbury, there’s definitely more to explore there. Their relationship feels more mature, a bit deeper, and more real. I think audiences are really going to feel like they’ve grown up with Enola, which is such a special thing.”
Enola Holmes 3 premieres on Netflix on July 1.
