James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow is now in production in Atlanta, and casting is still in progress. It is reported that four members of the Justice League will appear in Man of Tomorrow.
According to insider DanielRPK, a recent casting call reportedly confirms that Martian Manhunter will appear in Man of Tomorrow. Recently, Sinqua Walls was officially cast in the movie, with details about his character “being kept in a lead-lined safe.” It is possible that Walls could be playing the role.

- Green Lantern (John Stewart)
- Hawkgirl
- Martian Manhunter
- Wonder Woman
Gunn says Man of Tomorrow will focus heavily on the relationship between Superman and Lex Luthor.
“It’s a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat,” Gunn teased about Man of Tomorrow.
“At its core, it’s about Clark and Lex. I relate to both of them. I relate to Lex’s ambition and obsession — minus the murder. And I relate to Superman’s belief in people, his Midwestern values. They’re two sides of me.

At this year’s CinemaCon, James Gunn, Nicholas Hoult, and David Corenswet teased Man of Tomorrow in a newly released montage.
Hoult says, “Man of Tomorrow continues the Superman saga with a new villain and an unlikely alliance.”
Corenswet adds, “Try saving the world with your sworn enemy.”
Gunn will write, direct, and produce Man of Tomorrow, with Peter Safran co-producing for DC Studios. The film is a sequel to Superman, follows Peacemaker Season 2, and will be the fourth DC Universe movie in Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
Man of Tomorrow will arrive in theaters on July 9, 2027.
