Ruaridh Mollica’s Tommy Maximoff/Speed will reportedly have a major role in Marvel Television’s VisionQuest series.
According to Alex Perez (via The Cosmic Circus), Tommy reportedly appears near the end of Episode 1 and continues to appear throughout the rest of the series. He is said to have a significant role in the show, similar to Joe Locke’s Wiccan in Agatha All Along.

Perez also confirmed that Madripoor may not be connected to Mr. Charles’ or Valentina’s operations. Meanwhile, VisionQuest is rumored to have ties to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Here’s the VisionQuest footage description from Disney Upfront:
“In most of the footage, we see Bettany in his human form, essentially watching Vision’s memories as if they were a movie. The last time we saw him, he was White Vision, who flew off at the end of WandaVision. He regained his memories without having actually lived them, so now he’s trying to rediscover his humanity, noting that he doesn’t have any of the emotions the original Vision had.
To help him—and taunt him—there’s Ultron, once again voiced by James Spader. Spader also appears in human form. Tommy briefly shows up in the footage, and Spader taunts Vision by saying, ‘It’s a boy!'”

Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Paul Bettany described VisionQuest as “funny, moving, and super exciting.”
“It manages to feel very much like it’s somehow a part of that world, an end to a trilogy of sorts, whilst also being very much its own thing, and it is just really good,” Bettany said.
Bettany also revealed that VisionQuest serves as the conclusion to the WandaVision trilogy.
“It’s an end to a trilogy of sorts, whilst also being very much its own thing… I’m really proud of it.”
The show, created by Terry Matalas for Disney+, is based on the Marvel Comics character Vision. A spin-off of WandaVision (2021), it is the 18th television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), produced by Marvel Studios under the Marvel Television label. Matalas serves as both showrunner and director.
Marvel’s VisionQuest is officially coming to Disney+ this October, as confirmed at Disney’s Upfront event. The series wraps up the trilogy started by WandaVision and Agatha All Along, while bringing together Vision, Wiccan, Agatha Harkness, Quicksilver, Ultron, and other beloved comic book characters.
