Note: This post contains spoilers for Travis Knight‘s Masters of the Universe.
Ahead of the release of Masters of the Universe, details about the film’s post-credits scenes have leaked online. The film is reportedly set to feature three post-credits scenes, with the first two appearing during the credits and the third playing after the credits have finished.
According to reports, Masters of the Universe ends with three post-credits scenes. Orko appears in the first, referencing the beloved PSA endings from the animated series, while the second introduces She-Ra to the live-action universe. The final scene focuses on Evil-Lyn (Alison Brie), who picks up Skeletor’s skull and tells him he has “looked better” before his unmistakable laugh is heard.

Here’s the full breakdown of the three post-credits scenes in Masters of the Universe:
An Orko faithful to the animated series makes a fun appearance in the first post-credits scene, while She-Ra makes her official Masters of the Universe debut in the second.
While Orko’s appearance is played for laughs and serves as a fun nod to the classic animated series (he does not interact with any of the reboot’s protagonists), She-Ra’s scene clearly sets up a potential sequel.
Queen Marlena and Duncan/Man-at-Arms appear in a scene where they express their hope that, like Prince Adam, “she” will one day return. Elsewhere on Eternia, She-Ra is shown from behind—the actress portraying her is likely a stunt double—while holding the Sword of Protection.
And yes, a snippet of the classic She-Ra: Princess of Power theme can be heard.
In the third scene, Evil-Lyn is seen at Castle Grayskull, alone with Skeletor’s severed head. His signature laugh is heard as the screen fades to black, hinting at his return in a potential sequel. It remains to be seen whether Jared Leto will reprise the role.
Travis Knight directs Masters of the Universe from a script by Chris Butler, Aaron Nee, Adam Nee, and David Callaham. The movie adapts Mattel’s famous franchise and follows the 1987 live-action film.
After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam back to Eternia, where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor. To save his family and his world, Adam must join forces with his closest allies, Teela and Man-At-Arms, and embrace his true destiny as He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.
