Warning: This post contains spoilers for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Sony has begun its major promotional campaign for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starting with SpideyTracker.com, a new website designed to “track” and follow Spider-Man’s whereabouts in New York City. The platform launches on Wednesday, June 17, at 3 p.m. ET alongside the film’s new trailer.

In the new promotional video, Jacob Batalon appears as Ned Leeds and hints at several villains from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, including Scorpion, Tarantula, Boomerang, The Hand, the Punisher, and a mystery villain. The video also mentions a “product launch tomorrow.”
New descriptions for the villains in Spider-Man: Brand New Day:

Scorpion: “Feels like there’s history between Spidey and Scorpion, but I might be reading too much into it. He’s got a lethal mechanical tail that you do not want to be stung by.”
Boomerang: “His name is easy to catch, his weapons are not. He fights by using (surprise, surprise) special boomerangs with different powers.”
Tarantula: “Tarantula uses poison-tipped boots as weapons, so watch those feet. Luckily, Spidey has great reflexes.”
The Hand: “Can someone tell me what ninjas are doing back in New York? The all-red outfits do go kinda hard, but it feels like it’d be hard to sneak around in.”
Punisher: “Is he a friend of Spider-Man? They’ve been spotted together, but it doesn’t always look like they’re working as one. Either way, I’d want to stay on his good side (if he has one).”
Spidey Tracker is designed to be the main destination for Spider-Man: Brand New Day campaign content, offering interviews, cast appearances, live events, exclusive drops, Easter eggs, and reports of Spider-Man sightings submitted by fans. Along the way, Ned serves as fans’ guide through the interactive experience.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Here are the plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
