Warning: This article contains potential spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The final trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now playing in theaters ahead of its official online release. The trailer includes new scenes of Mark Ruffalo‘s Savage Hulk fighting Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man.
The last time fans saw Savage Hulk speaking was in Thor: Ragnarok (2017), where he said memorable lines like, “No Banner, only Hulk!” and “Hulk like fire. Thor like water.” Since Avengers: Endgame (2019), the MCU has mainly featured Smart Hulk instead of Savage Hulk.

In the new trailer, Hulk delivers one of his most iconic lines from Thor: Ragnarok. Hulk shouts at Spider-Man, “No Banner, only Hulk!“, recreating the fan-favorite moment from the 2017 MCU film. Watch it below.
There are rumors that Hulk is being mind-controlled by Sadie Sink‘s mysterious character (who is rumored to be Jean Grey, though this has not been confirmed). She is said to unleash the Savage Hulk, with Spider-Man and The Punisher teaming up to fight him. Some TV spots also appear to show Spider-Man using Shocker’s gauntlet against Hulk.
In Generations: The Evolution of Spider-Man, now streaming on Disney+, Tom Holland teased the ending of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Holland said, “The brand new day of this movie isn’t the beginning. It’s in the last frame of the movie.”
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
Here are the plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
