A new synopsis for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has been revealed alongside the official trailer, which was released today. Also, premium-format tickets for Avengers: Doomsday are now on sale, five months ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

“Universes collide, and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.
This epic film will lay the foundation for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Robert Downey Jr., who led the Avengers series as Iron Man, makes a shocking return as the evil scientist Doctor Doom. Familiar heroes like Steve Rogers and Thor are joined by a new generation of heroes, hinting at the largest assembly in history.”

Avengers: Doomsday is currently listed with a runtime of 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes). While the final runtime could still change, any adjustments are expected to be minor since tickets are already on sale.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
