Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now playing in theaters, with a grand box office opening assured. The next big Marvel release is Avengers: Doomsday, and a few new scoops from the movie have been revealed.
According to James Mack, Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom is reportedly the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth-828. He is the first and only Sorcerer Supreme there, but much darker. He taught himself sorcery, magic, and witchcraft. Doctor Doom will own a magical book (Named as the ‘Book of God’) in Avengers: Doomsday.
During SDCC, speaking to TheMovieReport.com, Marvel boss Kevin Feige said Doctor Doom believes “he is the hero and he will save us all” in Avengers: Doomsday.
“That’s what is fascinating about him, and that’s what I’m excited about having Robert Downey Jr. play him and bring him into Doomsday.”
Teyonah Parris will reportedly return as Monica Rambeau in Avengers: Doomsday.
Her role is reportedly limited to a cameo, with the film revealing that Monica has fallen ill.
The scooper said, “After speaking with several people involved with Avengers: Doomsday, I’m 100% certain that Monica Rambeau is in Avengers: Doomsday, but… her role is just a cameo, and she’s sick.”
Finally, the scooper says that Chris Hemsworth‘s Thor will communicate with Eternity through his daughter, Love, and discover that the entity is disintegrating because of the collapse of every universe. This is Thor’s greatest fear.
In a recent plot leak, it is reported that in Avengers: Doomsday, Thor and his adopted daughter, Love, have been traveling across the cosmos together, stopping evil wherever they go. However, Love begins suffering from nightmares caused by the Incursions.
Thor seeks out Eternity, who warns him that she is dying due to the collapse of the Multiverse. Thor then leaves Love somewhere safe and heads to the Excelsior. He knows where to go because tearing through the Multiverse caused the space crisis mentioned in Thunderbolts*.
Sam Wilson’s Avengers are also aboard the Excelsior and are shocked to see Thor. Sam doesn’t even believe it’s really him until Thor wields Mjolnir.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters across the United States on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
