The Batmobile is back in Gotham City. While there do not appear to be many upgrades for The Batman sequel, the iconic vehicle has returned.
Filming for The Batman: Part II is now taking place in Glasgow, with the city transformed into Gotham City for the movie. Multiple GCPD cars, SWAT vehicles, and the Batmobile have been spotted on set.

According to the Daily Record, Christmas decorations have been spotted on the set of The Batman: Part II. Filming restrictions in Glasgow are expected to affect multiple roads across the city over the next few months. Below, you can see bus timetables changed to list services in Gotham City, along with New York-style awnings placed on the fronts of buildings.
Glasgow has transformed into Gotham City before, previously appearing in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises (2012) and Matt Reeves’ The Batman (2022).
Director Matt Reeves and co-writer Mattson Tomlin are back for The Batman: Part II, the follow-up to The Batman and The Penguin. The first movie explored a younger Bruce Wayne’s battle with the Riddler and Gotham’s corrupt elite and went on to earn $772 million worldwide.
In the film, Robert Pattinson returns as Bruce Wayne/Batman, alongside Brian Tyree Henry as Harvey Dent, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Jayme Lawson as Mayor Bella Reál, and Gil Perez-Abraham as Officer Martinez. The new cast includes Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, and Sebastian Koch in undisclosed roles.
The Batman: Part II will hit theaters on February 18, 2028, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
