The first look at John Diggle, Green Arrow, The Flash, and Kid Flash from season 9 of “The Flash” has been unveiled. The long-running DC Comics show will conclude with a 13-episode season on February 8, 2023. Check out the images below.
On Instagram, David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle/Spartan in the Arrowverse, shared an image of the Arrowverse crossover superheroes appearing in The Flash’s final season.
Ramsey posted, “Congratulations to Team Flash for nine incredible seasons. But most importantly.. thank ALL OF YOU for your undying support for this universe. None of this is possible without you! Enjoy the mashup you had no idea you needed! #TheFlashFinalSeason #ArrowLives!”
The series stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, Kayla Compton as Allegra Garcia, Brandon McKnight as Chester P. Runk, and Jon Cor as Mark Blaine/Chillblaineon.
Barry Allen will face Batwoman and Red Death in the final season, both of whom will be played by a returning Javicia Leslie. During filming, set images and costumes were leaked.
Nicole Maines’s Nia Nal/Dreamer, Andy Mientus’ Hartley Rathaway/Pied Piper, Keiynan Lonsdale’s Wally West/Kid Flash, Sendhil Ramamurthy’s Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork, and Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen will also appear in the show.
“The Flash” season 9’s three episodes were written by Jonathan Butler and Kristen Kim, Jeff Hersh and Jess Carson, and Sam Chalsen, with a story by Joshua V. Gilbert and Emily Palizzi. Thomas Pound and Jess Carson wrote the sixth episode. Kayla Compton and Danielle Panabaker will each direct a season episode.
The season is produced by Berlanti Productions, Warner Bros. Television, and DC Entertainment, with Eric Wallace serving as showrunner.
