Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.
The promotional campaign for Avengers: Doomsday is now in full swing, with the film just two months away from release.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is not alone in his multiverse plan. He is joined by the Latverian Witches, a mysterious trio of masked sorcerers, Boris (Doctor Strange), and the Doombots, which Doom controls using ancient Latverian magical runes.
The first promotional look at the Doombots from Avengers: Doomsday was featured on a Hot Topic sweatshirt. The image shows Doctor Doom enthroned, flanked by multiple green robotic Doombots. Doombots are Doctor Doom’s classic comic book robotic minions and duplicates. See the image below.
According to leaked plot details, the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four will face off against the Doombots during the final battle in Latveria in Avengers: Doomsday. The battle could be similar to the Avengers’ fight against Ultron’s Sentries in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, the Russo brothers teased that Doctor Doom will be collecting more heroes in Avengers: Doomsday.
“I mean, look, his interest may extend beyond just Banner. So, that’s what we’ll say about that.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
