The VOD release date for Robert Pattinson‘s Primetime has been revealed.
The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies starting November 3, 2026.
The film has scored an 86% critics’ score and a 79% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.2/10 rating on IMDb, and a B CinemaScore. According to our review, the film is described as “audacious, imaginative and darkly funny.” Primetime is being praised as one of the best films of the year, with Robert Pattinson receiving particular acclaim for his performance as Chris Hansen.

Primetime is directed by Lance Oppenheim in his narrative feature film debut. The film is based on the 2007 Esquire article “Tonight on Dateline This Man Will Die” and follows the production of the reality television series To Catch a Predator.
Inspired by true events in 2006, To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen (Pattinson) sets out to make television history. When a high-stakes operation goes fatally wrong, his veneer of a dream of fame curdles into a nightmare of performative justice in this candy-colored thriller from Lance Oppenheim.
The cast of Primetime includes Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, Merritt Wever as Andie Bender, Skyler Gisondo as Dan Plum, Matthew Maher as Xavier Von Erck, Anna Faris as Mary Joan Hansen, Bokeem Woodbine as Cortland Gunn, Alex Winter as Bill Conradt, Phoebe Bridgers as Del Harvey, Tony Revolori, Jonathan Lipnicki, Eric Rahill, Sean Bridgers, Jeff Zucker, Creed Bratton, Caroline Hebert, Bob Ari, Bill Heck, Jessica Hecht, and Jon Bass.
Primetime was released theatrically by A24 in the United States on September 25, 2026.
