Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars is gearing up for production, with a huge cast of members reportedly returning for the major event film. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Secret Wars will be a soft reboot set within the MCU timeline, potentially allowing previous heroes to return once again.
According to scooper James Mack, who got descriptions of several characters from the Secret Wars script, a few details have been shared.

A Tony Stark variant will be involved in the story of Avengers: Secret Wars. He is described as “uninterested, lazy, hates being a hero, and an alcoholic.”
Steve Rogers is described in the script as “The Envy of God, Traumatized, Imprisoned, Grief-stricken, and The Last Witness.”
Wolverine is described in the script as someone who “hates working in a team, but he’s trying, hates Spider-Webs, but he’s kind.”
Previously, it was reported that Bob (Sentry) would be imprisoned underground, bound by thousands of chains beneath Doctor Doom’s castle in Avengers: Secret Wars.
Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk is also referred to as “Worldbreaker” in the script.
The Scarlet Witch will reportedly play an essential role in the reconstruction of the multiverse in Avengers: Secret Wars. According to scooper Claire Brookn, the character will have a parallel storyline in the film that adapts Avengers: The Children’s Crusade, leading Wanda to help restore “order” to the multiverse.
In a recent interview with AP News, the Russo brothers revealed that they had begun “soft prepping” for Avengers: Secret Wars.
“When you’re doing one of these movies, it’s the hardest thing you’ve ever done,” Joe Russo told the outlet. “When you’re doing two of them, it’s almost inconceivable. But it’s the second time around we’re doing two back to back.”
