Hailee Steinfeld, who plays Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman in ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ attended the Los Angeles premiere of the film. Steinfeld gracefully walked the red carpet, posing for photos and interacting with fans who dressed as Gwen Stacy.
During the premiere of ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,’ Hailee Steinfeld showed her joy upon seeing children dressed as Gwen Stacy. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she shared, “It makes my heart beat a million times a minute. That’s the kind of movie I wanted to have when I was 10. And I would definitely be one of them.”
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and is set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the “Spider-Verse”. The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson (in their feature directorial debuts) from a screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.
The film’s voice stars are Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Jake Johnson, Jason Schwartzman, Issa Rae, Karan Soni, Daniel Kaluuya, and Oscar Isaac.
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
