The plot details for Marvel Studios’ Loki season 2 have been revealed. The show consists of six episodes and is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 6, 2023. The filming began in June 2022 and concluded in October 2022.

Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.
Season 2 is produced by Marvel Studios, with Eric Martin serving as head writer and Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading the directing team. Avengers: Endgame VFX supervisor Dan Deleeuw and Loki season one production designer Kasra Farhani will co-direct the show.

In an interview with ET Online, Owen Wilson shared his experience working with the cast and crew of Loki season 2 last summer. He said, “I think his character that he plays in Loki season two — I think people will be excited, even though that was so great, obviously, the character that he won an Oscar, for I think people are going to love his character in this.”
