“Agatha: Coven of Chaos” is coming to Disney+ in winter 2023. According to an MCU source, “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” has been secretly filming scenes in New Orleans. The show focuses on Agatha Harkness, whom we saw imprisoned in Westview at the end of WandaVision.
Jac Schaeffer, the creator and executive producer of “WandaVision,” will serve as the series showrunner. “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” is written by Megan McDonnell, Peter Cameron, Laura Donney, and Cameron Squires. The previous title was “Agatha: House of Harkness,” which was renamed to “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” and unveiled at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con.
“Agatha: Coven of Chaos” stars Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, alongside Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Patti LuPone, and Maria Dizzia. it is reported that Emma Caulfield Ford from “WandaVision” is also returning as Sarah Proctor in Coven of Chaos.
The Disney+ Japan website lists an MCU line-up for 2023 that includes Secret Invasion, Loki Season 2, and Ironheart. The Coven of Chaos release date has yet to be confirmed.
Kevin Feige and Schaeffer executive produce the series, which is produced by Marvel Studios. The series is the twenty-fifth in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the eighth installment of Phase Five.
