We have some important updates on the upcoming Marvel’s ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries‘ series. Recently, the ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ featurette from the WandaVision steelbook was revealed.
What Happens in the Episode 1 of ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’?
In the first episode of ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries,’ Agatha, still under the influence of the Scarlet Witch‘s spell, assumes the identity of “Detective Agnes (Kathryn Hahn)” to investigate a murder case. The victim’s toe tag initially reads Wanda Maximoff, a clue that Agnes is attempting to break free from the spell. All the while, her ex, Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza), provides a subtle push in her journey to reclaim her true self.
In the new ‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries’ featurette, the toe tag on the table changes from Wanda Maximoff to Agatha Harkness. Detective Agnes discovers this twist while investigating with Rio. The featurette also shows Agatha in her WandaVision costumes from the 50s, 80s, and 90s in a morgue.
‘Agatha: Darkhold Diaries‘ is a Disney+ show created by Jac Schaeffer. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Agatha Harkness and serves as a spin-off from the series WandaVision.
The show focuses on the character Agatha Harkness (Hahn). Harkness is a witch from Salem, Massachusetts, who acquires dark magic from her own coven during the Salem witch trials. After 300 years, she came to know the chaos magic radiating from the Westview Anomaly created by Wanda Maximoff. According to the Illuminerdi, Agatha: Coven of Chaos will pick up where WandaVision leaves off in Westview. Agatha will be freed from Wanda’s spell by a new coven of witches. See the set images.
