Anthony Mackie has begun the world press tour for Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World in Rome. He attended a photo call for the film at the Hotel De La Ville on January 27, 2025.
As we reported, the 30-minute first press preview screening for Captain America: Brave New World will begin on Thursday, January 20, 2025. Following the screening, social media reactions will be revealed on the same day.
The film is rated PG-13 for “intense sequences of violence and action, and some strong language.”
Directed by Julius Onah from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton. The film stars Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquín Torres/Falcon, Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra, Giancarlo Esposito as Sidewinder, Rosa Salazar, and Xosha Roquemore.
Captain America: Brave New World is tracking to earn between $81M and $98M at the domestic box office for its 3-day opening weekend. The film reportedly has a budget of $180M.
Here’s the official synopsis for Captain America: Brave New World:
“After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
Captain America: Brave New World will have a runtime of 1 hour and 58 minutes and will hit theaters, including IMAX, on February 14, 2025.
