Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have officially divorced. Grande will reportedly make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez and give him half the proceeds from the sale of their L.A. home.
How is Ariana Grande’s Divorce Settlement to Dalton Gomez?
According to the Associated Press, Grande and Gomez’s divorce was finalized by the Los Angeles Superior Court on March 19, 2024. They were married for nearly three years, had a prenuptial agreement, and did not have any children.
Under the prenup, Grande will pay Gomez a one-time sum of $1.25 million, with no future alimony. Also, she will give him half the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home and cover up to $25,000 of his legal fees.
According to People TV, Grande’s work on the Wicked movie in England created a long-distance strain on her relationship with Gomez, who is based in Los Angeles. Despite wanting to make a life together, Dalton’s demanding career as a luxury real estate agent kept him in Los Angeles, making it challenging for them to be together often.
Shortly after the split, Grande began dating her ‘Wicked’ co-star Ethan Slater. TMZ confirmed that Ariana and Dalton separated in January 2023, and shortly afterward, she started dating Ethan, who also recently separated from his wife, Lilly Jay. Ethan and Lilly had a son together in 2022.
