MCU Filming Updates:
- Wonder Man: Currently filming in Los Angeles.
- Daredevil: Born Again: Filming in New York City.
- Thunderbolts: Scheduled for late March/early April in Atlanta.
- Captain America: Brave New World: Production to resume when the new script is ready, possibly by May 2024 in Atlanta.
- Fantastic Four: Set for summer 2024 in the UK.
- Blade: Tentatively planned for late 2024, possibly not in Atlanta.
- Avengers: The Kang Dynasty: Tentatively planned for late 2024.
The upcoming MCU films’ release dates are as follows: Captain America: Brave New World on February 14, 2025; Fantastic Four on May 2, 2025; Thunderbolts on July 25, 2025; Blade on November 7, 2025; Avengers: The Kang Dynasty on May 1, 2026; and Avengers: Secret Wars on May 7, 2027.
‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ follows the events of previous movies like The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and the second season of Loki. This film is the 42nd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and belongs to Phase Six.
It was also reported that ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ is likely setting up a soft reboot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) within Earth-199999. Serving as a send-off to both the Fox-Verse and the existing MCU, leading to the introduction of a new and different MCU.
