The filming start date for Marvel’s ‘Avengers 5‘ has been revealed.
According to the Production List, filming for the movie is scheduled to begin on December 31, 2024. The locations are set in Los Angeles, CA, United States, and London, United Kingdom. Sarah Finn is confirmed to be the casting director.
As per the listing, the synopsis for ‘Avengers 5’ reads: “Kang the Conqueror has been a foe of the Avengers for decades! Now, witness his ultimate triumph as he brings all of his vast, cross-time-spanning legions to bear to conquer the earth once and for all! Can Earth’s Mightiest Heroes hold back the colossal forces arrayed against them, or will they face defeat and subjugation beneath the boot of the Conqueror?”
Is Kang Still the Villain in ‘Avengers 5’?
As we already reported, Marvel wants to include Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming ‘Avengers 5’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars‘. The script, penned by Michael Waldron, confirms Kang as the main villain. Also, they want to add another villain to the plot.
The reports come from various sources stating that the script for the upcoming ‘Avengers’ film has been entirely changed. ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ is currently titled ‘Avengers 5’. The film follows the events of previous movies such as ‘The Avengers’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Avengers: Endgame’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, and the second season of ‘Loki’. This film is the 42nd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and belongs to Phase Six.
According to reports, Marvel President Kevin Feige is reportedly considering adding Deadpool and Wolverine to ‘Avengers 5’ following the positive response to the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ trailer. They were both originally planned for ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.
