It’s happening! Elizabeth Olsen is returning as the Scarlet Witch in Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday. Already, during the additional photography that took place over the last few days, Olsen’s stunt double has shared some cryptic teases of Wanda’s return.
According to Daniel RPK (via Patreon), “Avengers: Doomsday has successfully wrapped the additional photography/reshoots, with Scarlet Witch, Vanessa Kirby‘s Sue Storm, and other characters involved.”
As previously reported, Olsen’s stunt double was seen wearing an outfit from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. There is a high chance that the scene could be part of the post-credits sequence.
The scooper has shared another piece of news, claiming that “Jim Hammond is confirmed to appear in VisionQuest.”
According to a rumored update from a scooper, one of the ideas for the post-credits scene of Avengers: Doomsday would involve Doctor Doom and one of his assistants. The scene would reveal that the assistant is Wanda Maximoff, ending with the message: “Wanda Maximoff the Scarlet Witch will return in Avengers: Secret Wars.”
However, these are only ideas that were reportedly listed. It’s not known whether the scene will actually be used or if it was even filmed.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
