The opening scene of Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday will be the biggest action scene ever featured in MCU history.
As reported by insider John Campea on his recent podcast, the Russo Brothers were reportedly able to “eclipse everything else Marvel’s ever done” in terms of action in Avengers: Doomsday. The opening scene is said to “shoot you like a cannon out of the gate,” and the “massive action doesn’t let up.”
Campea said, “I have something I haven’t told you yet. What this person indicated to me was the sheer volume of action is going to eclipse everything else Marvel’s ever done.”
He added, “People are going to lose their minds. This movie starts with its foot through the floor and shoots you like a cannon out of the gate. There’s no slow start—it’s massive action right from the beginning, the scale is insane, and it doesn’t let up.”
We already reported that one scene in the opening of Avengers: Doomsday features the worlds of Deadpool, Wolverine, and Tobey Maguire‘s Spider-Man beginning to collide due to a multiverse incursion, but the Earths are saved by the TVA.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.

“Doctor Doom has officially arrived on the Marvel Cinematic Universe stage. This villain, a master of cutting-edge science and powerful magic, will unleash a cascading crisis across the multiverse. Marvel’s most iconic actor, Robert Downey Jr., also returns as Doctor Doom!”
