(Note: This article contains spoilers for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday.)
A new update on the Avengers: Doomsday plot about the main incursion has been revealed. In Doomsday, we will see the incursion between Earth-616 and Monica’s universe (Earth-10005), where the X-Men reside.

According to insider Alex Perez (via The Cosmic Circus), the MCU is trapped in a multiversal loop, as explained in the Loki series — Try #14,000,605 of He Who Remains trying to stop a Multiversal War. With the Kang variants out of the picture, incursions caused by heroes (Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Monica Rambeau, Reed Richards, etc.) are now the major threat.
Alex said, “The other incursions will also be addressed, such as the one in the Spider-Man: No Way Home movie, caused by Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.”
We already reported that Sam Wilson, Thor, Captain Marvel, Shang-Chi, Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Jennifer Walters, Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Bob, Bruce Banner, Shuri, M’Baku, Namor, and the Fantastic Four are tasked with resolving the incursion between two worlds, rescuing Monica Rambeau, and protecting Loki at the Citadel after discovering the TVA and Doctor Doom’s plan. Meanwhile, John Walker, Ghost, and Red Guardian remain on Earth-616 alongside other Avengers to protect the planet from an unknown invasion. The remaining Thunderbolts unite with Wakanda, Talokan, and the sorcerers led by Wong to help defend Earth.
Captain America (Sam) will have a lead role, Doctor Strange is expected to be a lead but his fate is uncertain, Shang-Chi will play a major supporting role, and Black Panther (Shuri) will have a supporting role.
Alan Cumming Returns as Nightcrawler With Action Scenes and His Signature Sword in Avengers: Doomsday

It is reported that Alan Cumming, who returns as Nightcrawler, will have major action scenes, including one featuring his signature swords. Filming has begun, with stunt sequences and some scenes already shot.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cumming described returning as Nightcrawler in Avengers: Doomsday as a “healing experience” after his role in X2.
Cumming said, “I realized that after X-Men, I stopped doing those kinds of bigger, blockbuster-type films. I didn’t do anything like that for years. I purposely went away from that big machine because I didn’t want to be an unhappy cog. Going back to a different atmosphere, it’s really nice.”
Directed by Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator, Stephen McFeely. Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) will be the cinematographer.
In Avengers: Doomsday, the MCU begins the beginning of the end. As the multiverse nears total collapse, the Avengers assemble to face their greatest challenge yet—incursions, catastrophic collisions between realities that could destroy the entire multiverse. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes must race against time to save their reality while confronting the powerful figure behind it all—Victor Von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.).
The official cast members of the film include Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Danny Ramirez as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Letitia Wright as Black Panther, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, and Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost. Produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Russo Brothers will produce through their AGBO banner.
