Beetlejuice Beetlejuice VOD Release Date Revealed (Exclusive)

Following its theatrical release, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice now has a confirmed streaming release date. The film will be available to buy or rent on digital HD platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV on October 8, 2024.

The film has received a 76% score on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.2/10 on IMDb, and 62% on Metacritic.

Directed by Tim Burton from a screenplay by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Wednesday), the story by Gough and Millar and Seth Grahame-Smith is based on characters created by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson.

Michael Keaton returns to his iconic role alongside Oscar nominee Winona Ryder (Stranger Things, Little Women) as Lydia Deetz and two-time Emmy winner Catherine O’Hara (Schitt’s Creek, The Nightmare Before Christmas) as Delia Deetz, with new cast members Justin Theroux (Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, The Leftovers), Monica Bellucci (Spectre, The Matrix films), Arthur Conti (House of the Dragon) in his feature film debut, with Emmy nominee Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, Scream VI) as Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, and Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (Poor Things, At Eternity’s Gate).

What is the Plot of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice?

Beetlejuice is back after an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. They are still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s (Ryder) life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid (Ortega), discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic, and the portal to the afterlife accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

The film is produced by Marc Toberoff, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, Tommy Harper, and Tim Burton, with production companies including Plan B Entertainment, Tim Burton Productions, and The Geffen Company.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was theatrically released overseas on September 4, 2024, and in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures.
