Ben Affleck’s ‘Air’ is now available on Amazon Prime Video. The film was released on Prime Video on May 12, 2023.

Ben Affleck’s directorial debut, Air, is based on a script by Alex Convery. The film is based on real events regarding the creation of Air Jordan, a basketball shoe brand, in which a Nike employee attempts to negotiate a commercial agreement with rookie player Michael Jordan.

Sonny Vaccaro and Nike pursue basketball rookie Michael Jordan, creating a partnership that revolutionizes the world of sports and contemporary culture.
The film stars Matt Damon as Sonny Vaccaro, Ben Affleck as Phil Knight, Jason Bateman as Rob Strasser, Marlon Wayans as George Raveling, Chris Messina as David Falk, Chris Tucker as Howard White, Viola Davis as Deloris Jordan, Matthew Maher as Peter Moore, Julius Tennon as James R. Air was released in theaters on April 5, 2023, by Amazon Studios. The film has grossed $50 million worldwide on a $90 million budget.
