Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell are returning as Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday, playing major roles in the plot.
According to a report from Majestic, Evans will appear in only one Marvel project, which is Avengers: Doomsday, while Atwell will appear in both Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. Also, Steve Rogers is a main character in the movie.
There are rumors that Steve Rogers is one of the people who caused the incursions in the multiverse. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve went back in time to live with Peggy, and unfortunately he also began altering events. Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is also rumored to be after Steve Rogers. It is said that an accident caused by Steve going back in time killed Doom’s wife and son, leaving him injured and driving him to seek revenge.
In Doomsday, a leaked report reveals that Evans’s costume features an unflattering brown jacket, a black T-shirt, brown pants with a black belt and silver buckle, and, notably, his signature beard. Evans is reportedly holding Mjolnir and sporting the same beard style he had in Infinity War, though his hair appears slightly longer this time.
A report from @Cryptic4KQual reveals that Doctor Doom plays the role of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He is introduced as someone with seemingly noble intentions, but beneath the surface he has ulterior motives. Pragmatic and calculating, he also manipulates others to achieve his goals. Doom manipulates everyone. He also wants Cerebro, which is why he visits the X-Men’s Universe.
Avengers: Doomsday will feature three Earths crashing together, which ultimately creates Battleworld.
