SYFY has released the first teaser trailer for ‘Chucky Season 3,’ which includes a surprising appearance by Devon Sawa as the President of the United States. The new season is set to premiere on October 4, 2023, airing on both USA and SYFY, with streaming available on Peacock starting the following day.
What is the Plot of Chucky Season 3?
In Chucky’s unending thirst for power, season 3 now sees Chucky ensconced with the most powerful family in the world—America’s First Family—inside the infamous walls of the White House. How did Chucky wind up here? What in God’s name does he want? And how can Jake, Devon, and Lexy possibly get to Chucky inside the world’s most secure house, all while balancing the pressures of romantic relationships and growing up? Meanwhile, Tiffany faces a looming crisis of her own as the police close in on her for “Jennifer Tilly’s” murderous rampage last season.
Created by Don Mancini, the series is based on the Child’s Play film franchise and serves as a sequel to “Cult of Chucky.” The cast of ‘Chucky Season 3’ includes Zackary Arthur as Jake Wheeler, Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Evans, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Cross, Brad Dourif as Chucky (voice), Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany, Christine Elise as Kyle, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Devon Sawa as The President of the United States, Annie Briggs as Rachel Fairchild, Carina Battrick as Caroline Cross, and Jackson Reid Kelly in an undisclosed role.
What Happens at the End of Chucky Season 2?
At the end of Chucky Season 2, Chucky successfully switched bodies with Dr. Mixter, while Glen and Glenda merged their souls into the Glen/Glenda doll. Meanwhile, Jake, Lexy, and others tried to move forward in their lives. However, Chucky and Tiffany returned, leading to Chucky killing Mayor Cross before being slain by Lexy. Caroline, manipulated by Chucky, departed with Tiffany. Miss Fairchild believed their Chucky stories, and Tiffany’s attempt to transfer her soul failed when Chucky, disguised as the Belle doll, attacked her. Finally, Chucky wrapped up the season by recapping the season’s kills.
