Daniel Roebuck (known for roles in Halloween II, The Count in The Munsters, Miracle at Manchester) has been cast as Santa Claus in Damien Leone‘s ‘Terrifier 3‘.
The news was exclusively reported by Bloody Disgusting. Roebuck is set to join the slasher franchise alongside David Howard Thornton, Lauren LaVera, Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam, and AEW superstar Chris Jericho. Check out the first look image below.
Roebuck said, “I’ve been holding this secret for a long time!” Roebuck added, “I’ve been really excited about it. I’m actually entering into the movies that I watch. It’s extraordinary. This is Terrifier bigger, badder, best.”
‘Terrifier 3’ is a Christmas horror movie and sequel to ‘Terrifier 2‘ (2022). It will reintroduce possessed survivor Victoria Heyes in a more prominent role. Leone has already confirmed that “Terrifier 3” will be the most terrifying installment in the trilogy.
As per the plot, “Art the Clown unleashes chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.”
On Twitter (X), Leone teased that “Terrifier 3” includes one of the “most insanely horrific scenes of the Terrifier franchise.” It almost made Howard Thornton, the actor playing the murderous Terrifier villain Art the Clown, vomit on set.
Produced by Phil Falcone, Steven Della Salla, Jason Leavy, and Michael Leavy, the film is a collaboration between production companies Dark Age Cinema and Fuzz on the Lens Productions.
