Camila Rodriguez makes her MCU debut as Angela Del Toro in Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, Episode 4.
In a recent interview with Phase Hero: A Film & TV Podcast, Daredevil: Born Again director Jeffrey Nachmanoff said that an alternate cut of Episode 4 featured the White Tiger amulet “illuminating” when Angela Del Toro (Rodriguez) got close to it.

Nachmanoff said, “I can’t remember what was in the final version, which way we did it, but I did one where it lights up in the bag and one where it stays dark. Oh, that would have—no, that doesn’t happen.”
Nachmanoff added, “We did it as—like, the idea was that when the young girl comes, it senses her, so it started illuminating. That would have had, like, a little battery in there. That was, you know, the prop department.”

In Daredevil: Born Again Episode 3, Kamar de los Reyes’ Hector Ayala mentions that he lives with his sister and niece—Angela Del Toro and Ava Ayala—the fourth and fifth incarnations of the White Tiger.
According to insider DanielRPK, a female-led White Tiger show is in the works at Marvel Studios. Therefore, we can confirm that Rodriguez’s Angela Del Toro will be the new White Tiger.
