DC Studios has released a new TV spot for James Gunn‘s Superman, which is very surprising. Usually, the studio releases such material with an announcement, but this time it’s different.
The new teaser is absolutely mind-blowing, featuring a scene that showcases David Corenswet‘s Superman in flight. Watch it below.
The first trailer got an amazing response from fans and became one of the most-watched Warner Bros. and DC trailers ever in just 24 hours. Also, Gunn will share a special sneak preview of Superman on February 9, 2025, during The Puppy Bowl XXI.
The film stars Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.
The film is written and directed by Gunn and is the first film of the DCU’s Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. Gunn also produced the film with Peter Safran under DC Studios.
