The trailer for DC’s Blue Beetle drops tomorrow (April 3, 2023). The update came from the official social media handle of the movie page, which tweeted, “TRAILER TOMORROW #BlueBeetle.”

A 15-second teaser for DC’s Blue Beetle has been revealed. The clip shows Xolo Maridueña‘s Jaime Reyes gaining superpowers from an alien Blue Beetle and flying up to the sky. Watch the clip below.
Blue Beetle is directed by Angel Manuel Soto from a screenplay by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. The film is a part of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The film stars Xolo Maridueña, Bruna Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo, George Lopez, Adriana Barraza, Elpidia Carrillo, Damián Alcázar, Raoul Trujillo, and Susan Sarandon.
In an interview with Comicbook, Maridueña said, “It’s such a new world, and this is my first movie, my first venture into being on the silver screen.” Maridueña added, “And so, getting to be a part of it all, I just want to be a sponge. I just want to learn as much as possible and have fun. It felt like there was so much anticipation and so much preparation going into the project that by the first day I was like, ‘Dude.’ It wasn’t like the first day we started, we hit the ground running and it was a great time.”
Blue Beetle will hit theaters on August 18, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
